Loving Salutations at the Lotus feet of Bhagawan!

Dear All, Today marks the completion of fourteen years since Maha Samadhi took place. It’s a day of remembrance, a day on which we solemnly recall the historic time that Swami spent in this place, and the many leelas and great acts of service that Swami served to humanity.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba took birth in this place, Puttaparthi, a poor, remote, backward village on the 23rd of November 1926. At the young age of 14, He announced to the world that He did not belong to any family and He had come to redeem the world. He expressed that the whole of humanity was His family and it made no difference to Him whether His devotees belonged to any particular religion, place, country, or gender. The ancient Indian philosophical idea of “Vasudaivakutumbakam” was clearly embodied in the declaration made by Bhagawan Baba in 1940.

Baba led His whole life in keeping with this declaration, till the time of His Maha Samadhi on the 24th of April 2011. He walked the talk and in every possible way demonstrated that His thoughts, words and deeds were in unison.

It is our earnest prayer to Bhagawan to continue to bless His ever expanding number of devotees who throng this place celebrating various auspicious and holy occasions, personal and institutional, and endow them with a sense of discrimination between good and bad, between right and wrong, so that all of us, the devotees, are able to reach the Lotus feet at our appointed time without getting entrapped in the web. May Swami’s boundless love prevail and may He bless and guide one and all to follow the right path.

May Swami bless all of us with peace and joy, on this holy day of His Aradhana Mahotsavam. Sai Ram.

April 24, 2025 is Celebrated as Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centennial Celebrations Day

New York City

In a historic and momentous ceremony held at City Hall on April 22, 2025, New York City Mayor Eric Adams officially issued a proclamation making April 24, 2025 (Thursday) as Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centennial Celebrations Day, honouring Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s universal love, peace and selfless service to humanity.

The proclamation was presented by Deputy Commissioner Mr Dilip Chauhan, in the presence of representatives from the Mayor’s Office and members of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council.

As part of the ceremony, a written statement by Sri RJ Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, was submitted, along with remarks from members of the Global Council and a special documentary by the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre, Prasanthi Nilayam, was also screened. The film showcased Bhagawan's global humanitarian initiatives and the transformational work of His devotees across the world.

The proclamation highlights and appreciates the tireless efforts of Sri Sathya Sai volunteers in the U.S., from serving food and distributing hygiene kits to educating youth through value-based programs. The Mayor also acknowledged the visionary leadership of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, including Mr RJ Rathnakar, Mr Nimish Pandya, Mr Sundar Swaminathan, Mr Kalyan Ray, Dr Axay Kalathia, Dr Balu Karanam, Dr Geetha J Kamath, Mrs Geetha Mohan Ram, Prof Koteswara Rao and Mr Sundar Venugopalan—along with every devoted volunteer embodying Swami’s eternal message:

"Love All, Serve All - Help Ever, Hurt Never."

Prasanthi Connection

Our Connection with The Abode of Highest Peace

Prasanthi Nilayam means 'the abode of highest peace'. It is the main ashram of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, located near the village of Puttaparthi amidst rolling hills, with the river Chitravathi to its east. The valley houses the divine sannidhi (sanctum) of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sai Kulwant Hall, bhajan mandir, residential complexes, the headquarters of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, its allied institutions.

By the divine grace of Beloved Baba our SSSGC Zone1 has recently taken up a new initiative "Prasanthi Connection" through which we will be sharing all important initiatives & updates from Prasanthi Nilayam.

Prasanthi Connection Team members will also strive hard to facilitate and help the devotees (of Zone1) with the logistics in Prasanthi Nilalayam.
